Driven Student Corps Member (Tutor/Mentor)(part-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Driven Student Corps Member (part-time/in-person). This person is responsible for supporting K-12 students during the school day or after school through one-on-one instruction and small group work in math, literacy, and college readiness. Driven Student Corps Members serve in a diverse group with other team members from local colleges and universities. Each team is led by a Raising A Village Site Coordinator, who directs the team in decisions that are made concerning service delivery. This individual reports directly to the Site Coordinator and works closely with all members of the RAV team.
Site Coordinator (full-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Site Coordinator. This individual is responsible for supporting the program administration and coordinating logistics that pertain to the Driven 2 Succeed program at their assigned school or community site. An overview of the job responsibilities include:
● Monitoring and tracking student participation
● Supporting Driven Student Corps Members (tutors and mentors) and volunteers daily
● Serving as the initial contact for teachers and community partners at their designated site
● Working with Driven Student Corps Members to tutor youth at RAVF’s designated sites as part of the Driven 2 Succeed services team
● Assisting with the collection of data for program evaluation purposes.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in developing and fostering relationships with school and community members through education programming activities and community outreach events. Relevant background experience should include:
● Teaching and/or high impact tutoring experience
● Program coordination and evaluation
● Lesson plan development
● School and community engagement
This position reports directly to the Program Director and works closely with members of the RAVF team, Driven Student Corps members, teachers, and school administrators.
Volunteer & AmeriCorps Manager (full-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Volunteer & AmeriCorps Manager. The Volunteer and AmeriCorps Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of RAVF’s AmeriCorps grants and volunteer programs across all divisions of the organization. This role involves grant development and management, data management, reporting, volunteer training, education, and monitoring for RAVF’s National and State AmeriCorps grant programs. The Volunteer and AmeriCorps Manager interfaces significantly with other RAVF programs and staff on all program aspects. This position works to ensure programmatic operational effectiveness, process evaluation, and staff training and oversight.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader and a track record of success in grants management program development, volunteer recruitment, and AmeriCorps service. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director and works closely with all members of the RAVF team, including site coordinators, school administrators, and community partners.
