Volunteers serve as tutors and mentors, also known as Driven Student Guides, supporting K–8 students in our Driven 2 Succeed homework help program. They build confidence, reinforce academic skills, and help students stay on track toward long-term success.
Volunteers assist staff with essential office tasks such as mailings, merchandising, and marketing campaigns. Their contributions help keep daily operations running smoothly and ensure our programs reach the communities we serve.
Volunteers assist our public outreach team at various local and promotional events by enthusiastically engaging with guests, distributing collateral materials, and representing Raising A Village Foundation as an ambassador in the community.
Before onboarding volunteers will be asked to complete an application, background check and interview.
Upon acceptance into the RAVF volunteer pool, candidates will be matched with the most appropriate opportunity.
Supporting families is how we sustain student success.
During the service experience, volunteers will learn more about RAVF, receive vital training skills, and updates on their progress.
After the commitment period, participants will share feedback, receive service hours and/or a letter of recommendation.
Join us in our effort to improve community conditions. As a volunteer, you’ll not only make an impact in the lives of the communities you serve, but you’ll also grow as an individual.

“The thing I like best about tutoring is that I know how to do my work well and can confidently support students as they learn.”
