New School Partner, HD Woodson High School!

Raising A Village has garnered HD Woodson High School as a new school partner for the 2018-2021 school years! We will be providing three services as part of the Driven 2 Succeed Program including the Let’s Make a Difference Project Classroom Residency, In-Classroom Support, and Homework Help! Special thanks to Communities in Schools Nation’s Capital for initiating this opportunity, we are excited about the work we will do together!

The Let’s Make a Difference Project, Classroom Residency: The Let’s Make a Difference Project is a curriculum propagated under the core themes of College, Career, and Community and integrated into the high school schedule through the classroom residency model. D2S brings in high achieving college students to improve college acceptance rates, job readiness, and community service completion through student-driven social impact projects.

In-classroom Support: In-classroom Support offers assistance to teachers in the K-12 classroom through this program. Driven Student Guides (DSG's) will work with teachers to support their students in the classroom through one-on-one and small group work.

Homework Help: Driven 2 Succeed offers students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, homework help in the areas of academics including math, literacy, and language arts.
