All Raising A Village Foundation employees, interns, subcontractors, and volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide bi-weekly testing. This includes staff members who are working remotely, hybrid, or in person to ensure the safety of our team members, partners, and families. To be in compliance, new team members should have received both shots of either Pfizer or Moderna, or one shot of Johnson & Johnson – in addition to the booster which must be obtained within 30 days of hire. New staff members must provide their proof of vaccination card to Human Resources prior to their start date.

Director of Education (full-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Director of Education. The Director of Education is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of educational programs within the organization. This role involves overseeing program design, implementing educational initiatives, managing program staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational services. The Director of Education collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to advance the organization's educational goals and objectives. The Director of Education supports multiple program sites led by site coordinators in our schools or community learning centers, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and strongly believes in our vision and values.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for education and a track record of success in program management and leadership. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with all members of the RAVF team, including site coordinators, school administrators, and community partners.

Site Assistant (full-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is seeking a self-motivated, mission-driven Site Assistant. The Site Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the operational success of the Driven 2 Succeed (D2S) tutoring program. This position requires flexibility, including availability for school day hours, afterschool, weekend, and/or evening on-call support to address urgent program needs.

The Site Assistant role ensures that all program logistics run smoothly and that students, tutors, and staff have the resources and support needed to achieve program goals at their assigned school or community site(s). The Site Assistant is an on-the-ground facilitator, ensuring the learning environment is organized, safe, and engaging for all participants. An overview of the job responsibilities include:

● Leading tutoring sessions during designated service hours.
● Serving as a secondary contact for teachers and community partners at their designated site.
● Setting up and maintaining the program space, ensuring materials, technology, and equipment are prepared and functional for tutoring sessions.
● Supporting Driven Student Corps Members (tutors and mentors) and volunteers daily
● Working with Driven Student Corps Members to tutor youth at RAVF’s designated sites as part of the Driven 2 Succeed services team.
● Assisting with the collection of data for program evaluation purposes.
● Coordinating extracurricular events and initiatives at school sites when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining relationships with schools and community members through educational programming and outreach events. They should have experience in youth development and/or high-impact tutoring, providing administrative support, and engaging with schools and local communities to foster meaningful partnerships. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director and works closely with members of the RAVF team, Driven Student Corps members, teachers, and school administrators.

Driven Student Corps Member (Tutor/Mentor)(part-time)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Driven Student Corps Member (part-time/in-person). This person is responsible for supporting K-12 students during the school day or after school through one-on-one instruction and small group work in math, literacy, and college readiness. Driven Student Corps Members serve in a diverse group with other team members from local colleges and universities. Each team is led by a Raising A Village Site Coordinator, who directs the team in decisions that are made concerning service delivery. This individual reports directly to the Site Coordinator and works closely with all members of the RAV team.
