Driven Student Corps Member (Part-Time/In-Person)
Raising A Village Foundation is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Driven Student Corps Member (part-time/in-person). This person is responsible for supporting K-12 students during the school day or after school through one-on-one instruction and small group work in math, literacy, and college readiness. Driven Student Corps Members serve in a diverse group with other team members from local colleges and universities. Each team is led by a Raising A Village Site Coordinator, who directs the team in decisions that are made concerning service delivery. This individual reports directly to the Site Coordinator and works closely with all members of the RAV team.

Academic Support
• Help students learn through high impact tutoring practices like reviewing academic content, problem solving, and reviewing assignments for accuracy.
• Help students develop healthy study habits and organization techniques to improve their academic performance.
• Keep adequate records of tutoring sessions and submit reports on each students’ status to team leaders, teachers and parents.
• Supervise students during tutoring sessions, provide guidance and mentorship as needed.
