Francesca Davila: Welcome to The Village!

Francesca Davila, a graduate student at George Washington University, is our newest Raising A Village Americorps VISTA Member who serves in the capacity of Operations Assistant supporting the day-to-day needs of the organization. As Operations Assistant, she sees her role as an opportunity for professional development while building her portfolio.

Francesca previously worked with young students, which sparked her interest in education and inspired her to learn more about the Driven 2 Succeed Program. She aspires to help create and build sustainable solutions for accessibility to education, health and wellness, and the arts during her time at Raising A Village. "I would like to expand my understanding of the obstacles that persist with accessing quality education in underserved communities," said Francesca. "I’m looking forward to helping to create avenues of access to education and curating spaces where members of the community can vocalize their wants and needs. "
