Raising A Village Foundation Hits the Airwaves!

For DMV locals, WHUR 96.3 FM’s “sounds like Washington” slogan rings true.  Since 1971, the urban adult contemporary station has been an institution of DC entertainment, bringing African-American music and talk shows from their Howard University studios to nearly half a million daily listeners.

We are thrilled to have been featured on WHUR host Sunni Puric’s superfriends segment, where she spotlights individuals and organizations making a positive impact in the community. Thank you to Sunni and WHUR for highlighting the transformative impact of our services and for bringing the sounds of Washington to the airwaves. Check out the segment below!
