Congratulations, Galilhea Calderon! Community Outreach Associate

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of dedicated team member Galilhea Calderon! Galilhea will serve as Raising A Village's first Community Outreach Associate. In this new capacity, she will be responsible for cultivating new relationships with community members and organization executives while supporting RAV's mission. Galilhea holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Florida International University. She first joined Raising A Village in 2021 as a Site Lead at Cardozo Education Campus, where she led the Driven 2 Succeed Program. As a Site Lead, she worked closely with first-time English language learners and students needing specialized learning support. Galilhea is excited to enter this new chapter in her career and continue supporting RAV through her passion for youth mentorship. "I am thrilled to continue building meaningful connections with the communities we work with," said Galilhea. "I look forward to developing relationships that will benefit the children, families, and learning centers we empower through education, health and wellness, and the arts."
