OSSE Members Visit D2S Program At Johnson Middle School
Earlier this month, the Driven 2 Succeed team at Johnson Middle School hosted a fun and interactive site visit for members of the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. During the visit, Education Pioneers Fellow, Alethia Hinds; High-Impact Tutoring and Recovery Fellow, Sam Angileri; and Partnership Director, CityTutor DC, Gina Burd interacted with our D2S learners, Driven Student Guides, Site Coordinator, Lindsay Washington, and Executive Director Jaleesa Hall to witness firsthand the benefits of high impact tutoring in our underserved school spaces.
“[We] really enjoyed our visit at Johnson Middle School and meeting the Raising a Village team!” stated Sam Angileri. “We appreciate the time and effort that went into planning our visit and learned a lot from the tutors and staff.”
