We're going on a field trip!

On October 24th 2019, Raising A Village Foundation and the American Experience Foundation hosted an all-day field trip experience for 25 students as part of the Driven 2 Succeed Program! The day began with a ride on the Old Town Trolley to view the historic monuments, a catered lunch at the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, a riveting performance of Fences at the Ford Theater and a guided tour at the National African-American History & Culture Museum!

We are so pleased to have the opportunity to enrich and expand curriculum, strengthen observation skills by immersing our students into sensory activities that increase knowledge and expand awareness of their own community!
