On April 16th, 2021, Raising A Village Foundation hosted a TEDx event in conjunction with the George Washington University. The topic of the conversation was based on the idea of being “en route to success.” Audiences gathered for an in-depth conversation about our route to success during the COVID-19 pandemic. The session included an interactive keynote from the Founder & CEO and a panel discussion with RAV staff.

The conversation began with a question for the audience asking, "what's the recipe of success?". Shortly after, the keynote was given by Founder and CEO of Raising A Village, Jaleesa Hall, on what it meant for Raising A Village to be en route to success. She talked about the three C’s: being community-minded, contextually nimble, and culturally competent.

After that, a panel was conducted by RAV staff, including Ana Ventura-Molina, Matthew Fichter, and CEO Jaleesa Hall herself. The conversation was moderated by another Site Lead, Eva Newbold, in which they talked about how they rebounded during the pandemic and how to stay afloat amidst a very difficult time.
