What happened during the KMMS Block Party?
Missed out on the fun at Kelly Miller Middle School last Saturday on April 3? Raising A Village Foundation was fortunate enough to be there for the block party event - consisting of multiple booths and activities for students and parents to get involved in! At the event, we were able to provide more information to potential students for the Driven 2 Succeed program.
With our 4 Site Leads, Ana, Matthew, Eva, and Brynn to assist students and educate parents on our offerings, we were very happy to have been there to see students currently in our program! According to Ana herself, she asserts "Its incredibly exciting to see students that I have never met before in person, and the parents too!"
Also, we were able to sign-up interested parents and students to join the Driven 2 Succeed program for the upcoming year. The best part is, a lot of them seemed very interested in the opportunities that came with participating in our tutoring and homework help sessions. As such, we are looking forward to meeting many of these students when fall comes around.
