Wrapping Up Back-to-School Night With A Bang!

Every Fall, Raising A Village staff attend back-to-school nights at our partner schools to connect with the students, families, and educators we serve through our Driven 2 Succeed program. This year, we connected with the educational communities at Hendley Elementary, Hart Middle School, Dunbar High School, Ballou High School, McKinley Middle School, and McKinley Tech High School. While smiles and hugs from our young learners are the highlight of every back-to-school night, additional high points included a fantastic student dance performance at Hart Middle School and a high-energy performance from Ballou High School’s renowned marching band.

"Back-to-school nights allow us to be in community with our partner schools, which is always such a joyful experience. My teammates and I fostered meaningful connections with faculty, staff, and learners, and we are excited to see our school partnerships thrive as we make a continued impact in our community," said Program Associate Elizabeth Knight.
