CityTutor DC's Expands Partnership with Raising A Village

Raising A Village Foundation is proud to announce our recently expanded partnership with CityTutor DC (CTDC) to provide school day high-impact tutoring (HIT) for several hundred students throughout the District.  CTDC will support each tutoring partner through program design, data collection, and a focus on best practices and common trends in quarterly Communities of Practice. “Our goal to expand HIT access to 10,000 students and beyond relies on the activation of tutors that can work during the school day and these partners have risen to the challenge,” says CTDC’s Executive Director, Cat Peretti.

RAV is one of six tutoring providers expanding partnerships with CityTutorDC, including American University School of Education, Blueprint Schools Network's Math Fellows Program, the GWU Math Matters tutoring program, RISE DC, and Tutor Partners. "Raising A Village is honored to rise to the challenge of implementing high impact tutoring in the classroom to support our learners," said Founder/CEO Jaleesa Hall. “Thank you CityTutor DC for the wonderful opportunity.”

CityTutor DC brings together schools, community organizations, and city leaders aiming to expand access to high-impact tutoring for kindergarten through 12th grade students across DC.
