RAV Staff Members Give Back to the Community Through Martha's Table

As part of Raising A Village’s ongoing effort to give back to the community, our staff joined the team at Martha’s Table to support their on-site Common’s Market in Southeast D.C. on Friday, April 28. Site Leads Dylan Amankwaah, Bonnie Chen, Sondra Fiorella, and Communications Associate Anjenee Cannon volunteered their time assisting shoppers with groceries, replenishing inventory, and directly engaging with community members from the surrounding Anacostia neighborhoods.

“It was such a gratifying experience being able to interact with community members and give back in a meaningful way,” said Anjenee. “Our team appreciates this opportunity to bring light and positive change to others.”
