Founder & CEO Jaleesa Hall Delivers Keynote Address at the 2023 Fair Chance Roundtable

On Tuesday, May 9th, Founder & CEO Jaleesa Hall was honored as a guest speaker at the 2023 Fair Chance Roundtable. The event brings together nonprofit partners, community leaders, donors,  Fair Chance Board Members, and supporters to participate in-depth conversations surrounding current issues impacting children, youth, and families across the DMV. As a 2022 graduate of the Fair Chance Praxis Partnership, a year-long program that focuses on strengthening leadership and organizational systems at small nonprofits, Jaleesa spoke about her experience with navigating Raising A Village Foundation to where it is today and the importance of supporting nonprofit organizations sustained by Black and Brown executives. 

"As a Black female nonprofit leader, it is so essential to me that organizations like Fair Chance exist," said Jaleesa. "Their dedication to empowering minority-led organizations is a testament to the importance of supporting underserved communities from the inside out."
