Welcome to The Village, KeKyua Brock! Manager, Education

KeKyua is a dedicated professional with a strong background in K-12 education, special education, and non-profit program management. She spent her formative years growing up in Prince George's County, MD, where her interest in the arts and recognition of its transformative power compelled her to pursue a degree in Urban Arts at Coppin State University. Since receiving her certification in Key Executive Leadership from American University in 2019, KeKyua has committed to fortifying her expertise in public management, honing her leadership skills, and continuing a lifelong commitment to learning. 


KeKyua began her career in Education in 2016 as a Dedicated Aide with the Prince George’s County Public School system. From there, she went on to further expand her scope of outreach as an After-School Site Supervisor with the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC),  later serving as Community Schools Program Manager and Lead After School Education Specialist. KeKyua's diverse background, combined with her passion, zeal, and unwavering dedication, will enable her to further advance the mission of Raising A Village as the newly appointed Manager, Education. "My work is driven by a genuine desire to liberate, educate, and empower underserved communities," said KeKyua. "In this role, I aspire to further elevate Raising A Village through innovative, insightful, and intentional program development."
