AmeriCorps VISTA Expansion

AmeriCorps VISTA national service programs create a path for young adults to gain professional experience that helps them take the next step in their careers and education, while building the capacity of local organizations. In 2019, Raising A Village Foundation received two AmeriCorps Members as a sub-grantee from organizations such as Campus Compact Mid-Atlantic and Notre Dame Volunteers. Since that time, Raising A Village Foundation has become a program grantee with AmeriCorps and has been able to journey with over 15 VISTA members in the areas of youth development by serving as Site Leads for our Driven 2 Succeed Program. Now, Raising a Village Foundation was recently awarded 30 AmeriCorps VISTAs to not only meet the expansion of the Driven 2 Succeed Program, but also provide capacity in areas such as impact and data, community engagement, resource development, communications and much more!
