David B. Robinson Foundation

The David B. Robinson Foundation is a philanthropic initiative for grassroots organizations who provide education and health and wellness resources to underserved children and families. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Joseph W. Daniels, Raising A Village Foundation was awarded $80,000 for the 2020-2023 grant cycle to support and strengthen newer organizations who are historically excluded from institutional philanthropy, and whose leadership and staff reflect the demographic composition and lived experiences of the communities they serve.

With this support, Raising A Village Foundation will be able to bolster our capacity and provide additional services to 60 children and youth through our summer acceleration program at Kramer Middle School and Anacostia High School.
