RAV Staff Celebrates Move-In Day for Summer Associates

The start of summer programming is just around the corner! On Monday, June 12, 2023 Raising A Village staff welcomed several of our Summer Associates to  Trinity Washington University to assist them with moving into campus housing for the summer. Raising A Village Summer Associates will support the Summer Acceleration Program, serving as tutors and mentors for youth at Ballou High School and The Aya, an affordable short-term family housing project in Ward 6. In our first partnership with Trinity, RAV is honored to offer this unique housing opportunity that will support summer tutors in need of temporary accommodations during their service.

"We are very excited about this developing partnership with Trinity Washington University as well as giving our tutors access to subsidized housing for the summer," said Regional Site Coordinator of School Programs Ana Ventura-Molina. "Through opportunities such as this, we hope to provide a more well-rounded experience for the tutors and mentors who serve with RAV."
